The small print...

The payment of a deposit or confirmation of a booking assumes agreement of the following Terms & Conditions.

All original digital materials remain the property of Mel Roach trading as Maxi Photography. It is understood that the copyright of all and any photographs belongs to Mel Roach t/a Maxi Photography.

No photographs may be copied or reproduced by any means photographic or otherwise by any person or machine other than by the photographer, unless full reproduction rights have been given by Mel Roach t/a Maxi Photography. Reproduction rights for wedding commissions are granted to reproduce the images for personal use only. No commercial licence is granted.  Permission for any commercial use must be granted by Mel Roach t/a Maxi Photography. 

Mel Roach t/a Maxi Photography reserves the right to use the photographs for display, promotion and all other purposes unless specific agreement has been agreed otherwise.

Commissions are booked on a time, not number of guests basis. Maxi Photography will endeavour to photograph all commissions with the best possible coverage. It is not guaranteed however that every guest or photographic wish will be captured due to the vagaries of the location, weather and the willingness of subjects. Maxi Photography offer photographic coverage but are not a photo manipulation service. Minor adjustments will be considered (such as spot removal in key photos) however major adjustments such as retouching and digital manipulation are not included within any package. Such requests will incur extra charges. Wedding photographs are normally processed, edited and delivered within approximately five to six weeks of the wedding date, however this may take a little longer at peak times, or as a result of any unforeseen circumstance. All image sizes are nominal. You will be provided with a pleasing colour in line with Maxi Photography’s unique edit but exact colour matching is not guaranteed.

Booking Fees & payment

A non-refundable £250 (weddings) or 25% booking fee is required for all bookings and the balance payment for all weddings is due one calendar month prior to the wedding date. For all other commissions the balance is payable seven days before the shoot.

Cancellation

In the unlikely event of you (the client) requiring to cancel the booking, the booking fee will be forfeited and the following additional terms apply: 

Up to 3 months before the event: 25% charge of the final balance

3 - 1 months before the event: 50% charge of the final balance

31 days or less before the event: Full balance charge

If we can re-sell the date we will consider a partial refund of the due amount, less additional expenses that have been incurred. If you require to cancel the original date and rebook to an alternative date which is available, the deposit will be carried over but the above additional charges may still be incurred. 

We do recommend that you take out wedding insurance to protect you financially in this instance.  

In the unlikely event of Maxi Photography requiring to cancel the booking, any monies paid will be refunded in full.  If Maxi Photography requires to supply an alternative photographer(s), they will do so with no additional cost to you (the client).
