The Great Barn
The Great Barn, near Exeter, Devon is aptly named because at 23 metres long and 7 metres wide, it is in essence, one breathtakingly beautiful enormous space. The scale means that pretty much everything happens in a single sociable place.
Seating over 160 guests at round tables and around 190 guests at trestles, there are very few wedding venues in Devon which have this kind of capacity without having to go the huge trouble and expense of putting up a marquee. It also means your party will never be split, everyone will be in the same space from the start to the end of your day.
Attached to the Barn is the Roundhouse which works well as a bar area, perfect also for serving coffee or evening food or a children’s room.
Aside from the wow factor of the interior of the barn, because it is sitting in the courtyard of a family home, surrounded by 120 acres of idyllic Devon countryside, it is totally exclusive and private. Once the courtyard gates are shut the only people you will see aside from our staff are those you have chosen to have with you on your special day.
Showcasing the Great Barn Devon … nestling in an idyllic valley just 8 miles from Exeter … The Great Barn is quite simply one of the most breath-taking Wedding Venues in Devon.
